Family medicine and urgent care clinic answering the needs of the community. We offer each of our patients the bridge to finding a PCP as we notice a lot of patients are lacking primary care. This is not a wallflower clinical site and you will need to be put in the "hot seat" and see the patients and do 100% of the visit as is expected of NPs. We highly recommend getting your NPI as an RN so that way you can prescribe and have it signed off in the EHR so that you are not prescribing medications for the first time when after you graduate. No scrubs, business attire only. Slower paced clinic so you can learn how to do visits properly and the speed will come later. Strong knowledge of pathways, recourse references, and common procedures knowledge highly recommended before the clinical. This is own operated by APRN and it's understood the struggles of being a student and an awesome learning opportunity.
